SBM has partnered with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to offer free training and certification for good clinical practice in social and behavioral research.

Leadership Institute

SBM offers a year-long Leadership Institute for mid-career members. The institute kicks off with an in-person, two-day workshop where participant fellows attend skill-building sessions and engage with former participants. Then, throughout the institute year, fellows develop their own self-identified leadership projects, and receive one-on-one coaching from professional coaches and peer-group mentoring from SBM leaders.

This group seeks to improve the understanding of underlying mechanisms of human behavior change by promoting basic research on the initiation, personalization, and maintenance of behavior change. They've has developed a comprehensive measures repository.
