This webinar will focus on the revised ORBIT model (Obesity-Related Behavioral Intervention Trials) for developing behavioral treatments. The purpose of this webinar will be to describe the ORBIT hypothesized pathway's role, provide an overview of the model's goals and key questions for each phase, and showcase real-world examples of physical activity, digital health, and behavioral intervention development informed by ORBIT Phases I and II.

Learning objectives:

  • Describe the goals of the revised ORBIT Model for behavioral intervention development.

  • Identify and apply key questions to be addressed within each phase and subphase of the ORBIT Model, with a specific focus on Phases I and II.

  • Develop an ORBIT hypothesized pathway for physical activity and digital health behavioral intervention design and development.
