This webinar will focus on leveraging behavioral science methods to support equity-guided population health management in real world settings. The first speaker will describe the use of human-centered design to develop an interactive equity dashboard to engage healthcare teams in the Veterans Health Administration in identifying and addressing disparities in their patient populations. The second speaker will present work that leverages cloud-based tools and publicly available datasets to identify cancer risk factor disparities and prioritize population-level interventions to address them. Both speakers will share how their tools have been used to elicit conversations with policy makers and to partner with health departments and healthcare systems to enhance their health equity agendas.
