Interpersonal Violence: People, Policy, and Paradigms

Interpersonal violence is a widespread problem that affects individuals, families, and communities globally. In this webinar, we will discuss: (1) effective policies and trauma-informed programs, like the Green Dot program, a bystander intervention to prevent and respond to interpersonal violence, (2) paradigms underlying our evolving understandings of interpersonal violence, centering on alcohol-involved sexual assault, (3) current trauma- and culture-informed prevention among young Black men and boys who are violence-involved, using the BrotherlyACT intervention as a case study, (4) Next steps and implications for policy, practice, and research. Participants will engage with this topic via a Q&A session.
