This webinar will discuss how researchers can utilize social media platforms (e.g., twitter) as tools to advocate for important issues related to women, children, and families. We will spotlight three presenters with unique areas of expertise. First, Tisha Felder, PhD, to speak on using social media for raising awareness around lactation support. Second, Dan Wuori, PhD, will speak on using social media to raise awareness of critical issues facing early childhood education and care. Finally, Joanna Buscemi, PhD, will speak on using social media to share policy position statements and communicate effectively with legislators.
