Honors, Awards, and Inclusions:

LaPrincess C. Brewer,  MD, MPH, received the 2025 Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine’s Distinguished Medical Alumnus Award.

Alan M. Delamater, PhD, FSBM, received the 2025 Dennis Drotar Distinguished Research Award from the Society of Pediatric Psychology, Division 54 of the American Psychological Association.

Shaon Lahiri, PhD, MPH, was appointed as Associate Editor at Nicotine & Tobacco Research. 

Mariane de Oliveira received the 2025 NEBS Postdoctoral Student Award from the American Society for Nutrition’s Nutrition Education and Behavioral Science Research Interest Section, as well as being selected as a winner in the ASN Emerging Leaders in Nutrition Science Poster Competition in the Topical Area: Nutrition Education and Behavioral Science.

Michelle Segar, PhD, MPH, MSFSBM, delivered a keynote featuring research about how to cultivate positive affective experiences with physical activity at the North American Society for the Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity's Annual Conference.
