Building H is producing the next iteration of the Building H Index, which rates and ranks popular products and services on the influences they have on the health behaviors — diet, physical activity, sleep, social engagement and time spent outdoors — of their users. A key part of the process is a crowd-scoring exercise where volunteers read brief analyses of these influences and score them on a numerical scale. Building H needs to recruit 200 volunteers who have backgrounds in public health, health care or health policy to review and score profiles of services like YouTube, Netflix, DoorDash and Uber. It’s a light lift – people that volunteered on the last Index reported that it took between 20 and 30 minutes. They’ll send out profiles for review in October and November.
