Psychologist in Integrated Primary Care Position Open at Mayo Clinic

The Division of Integrated Behavioral Health at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, is seeking a psychologist with experience in delivering behavioral health services within an integrated primary care setting. The Division of Integrated Behavioral Health includes a collaborative working team including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, clinical nurse specialists, and primary care providers. This team has successfully implemented research-based models of care delivery and is in the process of expanding these models to additional primary care settings.

A psychologist in this role will be located within the primary care setting and will collaborate with an integrated team in evaluating and treating behavioral health problems in primary care patients. The psychologist will assist in developing and implementing integrative models of care, and ideally, will participate in research and quality projects that evaluate the impact of these models. There are opportunities to provide clinical and research mentorship to psychology postdoctoral fellows. The psychologist will have an academic appointment in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree from an American Psychological Association-accredited graduate program, will have an APA-accredited internship, will be eligible for licensure in Minnesota and will obtain board certification from a specialty board of the American Board of Professional Psychology. Experience in the area of integrated primary care is strongly preferred.
