CLASSIFIEDS University of California - Merced Announces Positions in Health Psychology/Behavior MedicineUniversity of California - Merced, has one position open at either the Assistant (tenure-track) or Associate/Full Professor (tenured) level in health psychology/behavioral medicine. Research focus within this area is open, and candidates with clinical research interests are welcomed. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing psychology faculty at a new UC campus, and to contribute to program development. UC - Merced is experiencing strong developments in interdisciplinary health sciences research and education. We seek outstanding scholars who will establish and fund creative research programs; contribute to the building of a specialization in health psychology/behavioral medicine; participate in the development of innovative, interdisciplinary research programs; and, teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will have a doctorate in health psychology/behavioral medicine or a related field; a strong publication record; interests in program-building; a commitment to excellence in teaching; and at the Associate/Full Professor levels, a strong record of leadership and external funding.
