Georgia Southern University: Dean, Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health

 

Georgia Southern University (Georgia Southern) invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health (JPHCOPH).

The Dean will serve as chief executive and principal ambassador for the JPHCOPH, providing strategic leadership, institutional vision, and responsible fiscal stewardship. The Dean will strengthen interdisciplinary engagement, research productivity, academic excellence, entrepreneurial initiatives, and public health service across Georgia and beyond, championing the College’s mission to improve health outcomes and address health disparities among underserved populations regionally, statewide, nationally, and globally.

The Dean will serve as a bridge between the University and the communities it serves, cultivating strategic partnerships that enhance the College’s reach and elevate the visibility, reputation, and impact of both the JPHCOPH and the University.

Georgia Southern is a public, comprehensive R2 university enrolling over 26,000 undergraduate students and 4,000 graduate students. The JPHCOPH currently offers undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees as well as an online Certificate in Public Health.
