Description/Mission Statement
The Integrated Primary Care Special Interest Group is devoted to promoting and enhancing the delivery of evidence-based behavioral health care in primary care settings. We provide a forum for the exchange of information and foster relationships between behavioral health and medical professionals in order to:
- Facilitate the integration behavioral health professionals and biopsychosocial interventions into primary care settings.
- Advance research of behavioral health interventions in primary care.
- Support the training of students pursuing integrated primary care.
