2021 Student/Trainee Flash Talk Competition
This year, the SBM OED SIG continued to provide students/trainees with the opportunity to orally present their research. Students/trainees submitted their conference presentations as 3-minute flash talks and the winner (selected by SIG member votes) was announced during the SIG business meeting.
2019 Student/Trainee Flash Talk Competition
This year, the SBM OED SIG spearheaded a new initiative to provide students/trainees with the opportunity to orally present their research. Students/trainees delivered 3-minute flash talks at the beginning of our bi-monthly video calls and the top 3 talks (selected by a review committee) will be invited to present at the OED SIG breakfast roundtable at the annual conference, where a winner will be selected and awarded a $200 prize!
