Thank you for attending the Society of Behavioral Medicine's (SBM's) 2016 Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions! The meeting drew 1,925 attendees, a record high for SBM. Here are a few more important numbers from the meeting:
- 1,089 posters displayed.
- 234 sessions held over 4 days including 19 "pre-conference" courses/seminars.
- 10.3 million Twitter users reached by tweets about the meeting (an increase of more than 5 million from last year).
SBM leaders and staff hope you left the meeting energized and inspired, ready to tackle new research questions, move your career in new directions, and improve the health of new populations.
Claim your CE Credits by May 2
Credits still Available for Purchase
If you purchased continuting education (CE) credits for the 2016 Annual Meeting, don't forget to claim your credits by May 2. Claiming credits is easy—just complete online evaluations for the overall meeting and for the specific sessions you attended. If you've misplaced the link to the evaluations, email jmoerke@sbm.org.
CE credits can still be purchased through April 30. Email jmoerke@sbm.org or call (414) 918-3156. SBM offers credits for certified health education specialists, dietitians, nurses and nurse practitioners, physicians, psychologists, and public health professionals. Credits cost $80 per credit type for SBM members and $100 per credit type for non-members.

Join SBM in sunny San Diego, CA, for the 2017 Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions. The meeting will take place from March 29 to April 1 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. The meeting's theme is La Buena Vista: Expanding Horizons of Behavioral Medicine. SBM will issue a call for abstracts in mid-July 2016. SBM welcomes abstracts from members and non-members alike. |
