Faculty Positions Open in Division of General Pediatrics at the Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School

The Division of General Pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital is seeking full-time faculty members at the level of Instructor, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School. Faculty in the division conduct health services research, clinical research, behavioral research, public health research, community-based participatory research, and other research on child, adolescent, family, and community issues. Research funding comes from NIH, AHRQ, CDC, foundations, and private donors. The division includes about 80 faculty members in ambulatory pediatrics, hospital medicine, complex care, child protection, environmental health, global health, and health services research; 12 of its faculty are full-time researchers. It also oversees a thriving community health center. The division offers five fellowships: Health Services Research, General Academic Pediatrics, Academic Pediatric Hospital Medicine, Pediatric Environmental Health, and Pediatric Global Health. Clinician-researchers and non-clinician doctoral-level researchers are invited to apply. We welcome applications from outstanding doctoral applicants with child health expertise in social/behavioral fields, including psychology (e.g., clinical, developmental, social), public health, and other fields listed above. Successful applicants will generally have a track record of federal funding or plans to seek such funding. They will also be interested in a multi-disciplinary research environment.
