Registration is now open for SBM's 33rd Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions, April 11-14, 2012, in New Orleans, LA. To take advantage of the Early-Bird discount rate, you must register before March 15, 2012, at http://www.sbm.org/meetings/2012/annual-meeting-registration.
About the Meeting
The 33rd Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions will focus on Engaging New Partners and Perspectives. As our outstanding speakers address such topics as genetics, genomics and behavioral medicine, cancer, obesity, cardiovascular health, health policy, health information and communication, and career development, they will focus on ways to develop innovative partnerships and embrace new and even differing perspectives. Four highly-attended poster sessions and myriad paper sessions allow students at all levels as well as researchers, practitioners, and policy advocates from such disciplines as psychology, nursing, medicine, and public health to freely exchange ideas and build networks.

While the initial abstract submission session has closed, you still have the opportunity to submit a Rapid Communication abstract for review. Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters at the 33rd Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions, April 11-14, 2012, in New Orleans, LA. Rapid Communication Posters give authors a chance to present late-breaking findings in the field of behavioral medicine. All accepted abstracts will be published in a special handout distributed at the Meeting.
