Rental Cars

There are several companies to choose from when renting a car at Reagan National Airport. Car rental counters are located on the first floor in Parking Garage A. Passengers can proceed to the shuttle pick up area located outside the baggage claim area of each terminal.

To drive to the Washington Hilton from the Reagan National Airport:

  • Depart from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, VA (0.6 mi.)
  • Take ramp right and follow signs for George Washington Memorial Pky North (2.0 mi.)
  • Take ramp left for US-50 West toward Memorial Bridge / Arlington Cemetery (0.4 mi.)
  • At roundabout, take first exit onto Arlington Memorial Bridge (0.5 mi.)
  • Bear right onto Lincoln Memorial Circle SW, and then keep straight onto road (0.1 mi.)
  • Bear right onto Lincoln Memorial Circle SW (0.0 mi.)
  • Turn left onto 23rd St NW (0.8 mi.)
  • At roundabout, take fourth exit onto New Hampshire Ave NW (0.2 mi.)
  • Bear left onto 22nd St NW (0.5 mi.)
  • Road name changes to Florida Ave NW (0.4 mi.)
  • Turn left onto T St NW (0.1 mi.)
  • Hotel will be on the right (0.0 mi.)

Taxi Cabs

Taxi cabs are dispatched from convenient locations on the arrivals curb just outside the baggage claim areas of each terminal. Uniformed taxi cab dispatchers are stationed at each taxi cab dispatch area to assist passengers with selecting a taxi cab based on destinations in Washington, DC, Virginia, or Maryland. Taxi cab fare to the Washington Hilton is estimated at $19 minimum one way. Visit the airport website for more information on their taxi cab service.

Metrorail

The Washington, DC Metrorail system has an elevated Metrorail station connected to the concourse level of terminals B and C at Reagan National Airport. Metrorail farecards may be purchased at machines located at all entrances to the airport Metrorail station. The station is also fully accessible via elevators.

Getting to the Metrorail station from the terminals:

  • Terminal B and C: Use either of two enclosed pedestrian bridges on the concourse level which connect directly to the station.
  • Terminal A: Exit the terminal to the streetside curb, and board any “Airport Shuttle” bus. At the stops for Terminal B/C or Parking Garages B and C you may access an enclosed bridge which connects to the Metrorail station.

  • At exit 18B, take ramp right for I-495 North toward Baltimore (3.1 mi.)
  • At exit 43, take ramp right for George Washington Memorial Parkway toward Washington (8.7 mi.)
  • Take ramp right for US-29 North toward Key Bridge / Washington (0.5 mi.)
  • Take ramp right for US-29 N / Whitehurst Fwy (0.7 mi.)
  • Bear right onto K St NW, and then keep straight onto US-29 / K St NW (0.1 mi.)
  • Turn right onto 25th St NW, and then immediately turn left onto K St NW (0.1 mi.)
  • At roundabout, take sixth exit onto New Hampshire Ave NW (0.2 mi.)
  • Bear left onto 22nd St NW (0.5 mi.)
  • Road name changes to Florida Ave NW (0.4 mi.)

Taxi Cabs

Washington Flyer Taxi provides the taxi service at Washington Dulles International Airport. Follow the signs for ground transportation or taxi to the lower level of the main terminal where a customer service representative will be available. City Bus/Metrorail

Dulles International Airport Silver Line Express provides non-stop service between Washington Dulles International Airport and the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station for $5. From the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station, you can board Metro’s Silver Line and connect to any destination in the Metrorail system.

Tickets for the Dulles International Airport Silver Line Express can be purchased at the ticket counter located inside the vestibule of door 4 on the arrivals level of the main terminal. Cash, traveler’s checks, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover Card are accepted. Passengers boarding at Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station can purchase their Silver Line Express fare when they arrive at Washington Dulles International Airport. Metrorail farecards can be purchased inside the Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail Station.
