Mentoring Program

Our mentoring program is expanding! Many of our members have enjoyed and benefited from the expertise of others through our mentoring program, advancing their careers and our field through their contributions. Research indicates that professionals who have mentors are more confident and successful as new faculty. In return, our mentors have gained a sense of generativity, enjoying giving back what they have each gained from their many opportunities.

Mentoring is a process that can offer benefits across the "career lifespan." We are opening the mentoring program to all members at the level of internship and beyond to provide an opportunity for you to serve as mentors or mentees. If you would like to give back and share your expertise as a mentor please consider joining our program as a mentor. If you think you would benefit from mentoring in a specific content area, or in making career decisions, balancing life and family, etc. please consider joining our program as a mentee. More senior members who are transitioning into a new area and would like to have guidance from an established expert may benefit from the mentee opportunity. Members may serve in both roles.

More information will be coming soon.
