2008 Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM) Achievement Awards
The deadline for submission of all 2008 SBM Achievement Awards applications and supporting materials is 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on November 16, 2007. New this year, all applications must be submitted via the SBM website, www.sbm.org, by the deadline noted above in order to qualify as a nominee for a 2008 award.
The following awards will be offered by SBM in 2008. Recipients will be presented with their respective awards at the 29th SBM Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions, March 26-29, 2008, in San Diego, CA. Award recipients will be notified of the specific date and time for the awards ceremony in their recipient confirmation letters.

- Distinguished Scientist Award ($1,000 Honorarium)
- Early Career Investigator Award ($1,000 Honorarium)
- Outstanding Dissertation Award ($500 Honorarium)
- Distinguished Student Awards (Awards in the amount of $500 each)
- Distinguished Research and Clinical Mentor Awards
- Excellence in Behavioral Medicine Training Program Award
