Education, Training and Career Development Council
The goals of the Society of Behavioral Medicine's (SBM) Education, Training & Career Development (ETCD) Council include identifying and promoting existing education and training programs, and promoting the development of new interdisciplinary education and training efforts in behavioral medicine.
The ETCD Council comprises the following members:

The ETCD Council meets via teleconference on the fourth Monday of every month.
Working towards its goals, the ETCD Council undertakes a number of activities for the Society of Behavioral Medicine including:
- Coordination of the Consultation Program
- Development of a repository of behavioral medicine syllabi and other training materials
- Selection of several Achievement Award recipients
- Oversight of Continuing Education Credits
- Provision of career track recommendations to SBM members
- Development of programming for the Annual Meeting related to education and training
- Assists SBM in providing other resources regarding education, training and developmen
