Call for Awards
2012 Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM) Achievement Awards
The deadline for submission of all 2012 SBM Achievement Awards applications and supporting materials was 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on November 30, 2011. Only applications submitted via the SBM website, www.sbm.org, by deadline, will be considered for a 2012 award.
The awards described below will be offered by SBM in 2012. Recipients will be presented with their respective awards at the 2012 SBM Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions, April 11-14, in New Orleans, LA. Award recipients will be notified of the date and time of the awards ceremony.
- Distinguished Scientist Award ($1,000 Honorarium)
- Alere Wellbeing Research to Practice Award ($1,000 Honorarium)
- Early Career Investigator Award ($1,000 Honorarium)
- Outstanding Dissertation Award ($500 Honorarium)
- Distinguished Student Awards (Awards, at minimum, in the amount of $500 each)
- Distinguished Research Mentor Award and Distinguished Clinical Mentor Award
- Excellence in Behavioral Medicine Training Program Award
Nomination and Application Submission Information
Please note: The deadline for submission of all 2012 SBM Achievement Awards applications and supporting materials was 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on November 30, 2011. All applications are to be submitted via the SBM website, www.sbm.org, by this deadline in order to qualify as a 2012 award nomination.
