For Possible Registration Reimbursement, Indicate Early-Career and/or Minority Status

When you register for the Annual Meeting, be sure to indicate your minority and/or early-career status on your registration form.

SBM has applied for a government grant that may allow for reimbursement of Annual Meeting registration fees for a limited number of early-career and/or underrepresented minority attendees who present an abstract at the meeting (e.g., paper, poster, symposium).

To be eligible for possible reimbursement if SBM receives the grant, register before the March 1 early-bird deadline and indicate your early-career and/or minority status on your registration form. To indicate early-career status, select student or transitional as your SBM member type. To indicate minority status, check the minority fee assistance box.

Remember to Book Your Room at the Washington Hilton Conference Hotel

Book a room in the SBM 2016 Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions room block to get a discounted room rate of $297.70 ($260 special rate plus $37.70 in taxes). Only a limited number of rooms are available at the discounted conference rate, so book early! Once the conference rooms are sold out, SBM will not be able to offer additional rooms at the conference rate.
